The best aerial work goes unnoticed as aerial work: an opening frame that sets the scale of a landscape, a slow move that reveals where a story is happening, a top-down that turns a venue into geography. That is how we fly: as part of a shoot, in the same grade and the same rhythm as everything filmed at ground level.
And because commercial drone work in South Africa is regulated aviation, all of it happens under a SACAA operator certificate, with a licensed pilot and insured, registered aircraft. The paperwork is not the interesting part, but it is the part that protects you.

In South Africa, commercial drone work is regulated aviation, not a camera accessory. The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) requires the operating company to hold an RPAS Operator Certificate (ROC), the pilot to hold a Remote Pilot Licence (RPL), and every aircraft to be registered and approved, under Part 101 of the Civil Aviation Regulations.
It matters to you, not just to us: footage from an unlicensed operator is illegal to commission, uninsured when something goes wrong, and the liability lands on the brand that hired them. All Red Lens Media aerial work is flown under ROC compliance, by a licensed pilot, on insured and registered aircraft.
